That's because the sports car comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine that churns out 200 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque on a six-speed manual or automatic with paddle shifters. The rear-wheel drive vehicle also gives us dual variable valve timing, along with traction and stability control on a MacPherson Strut front suspension and double wishbone rear suspension system.
And for all the fun you can have inside the stylish Scion FR-S, you're also getting very respectable fuel economy. The new sports car achieves up to 25 miles per gallon in the city and can attain 34 mpg on the highway.
There's also a wealth of sports car features inside, and technology like Bluetooth, USB connectivity, and a Pioneer audio system.
So while the new ad features these significant others getting upset over the purchase, we're betting if they hopped in and road along, they'd change their tune pretty quickly.
