When the 2014 Corolla arrives at Capitol Toyota, it will receive quite the welcome. That's because it has always been popular with drivers everywhere, and is also coming with a new design both inside and out. Now, we know how much it will all cost, too.
Toyota announced the pricing for the entire Corolla lineup, which includes the base L trim, LE, S, and new for this year, the LE Eco. Each comes with a 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine, while the LE Eco takes that and adds an upgraded continuous valve timing, giving it more efficiency. Currently, the automaker estimates that number could be around 42 miles per gallon, but we'll have to wait and see what the official figure from the EPA will be. Still, pretty impressive.
In the baseline L, you can find a new six-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic with LED low-beam headlights, daytime running lights, and Bluetooth standard for $18,210 MSRP. Kick it up to the LE and there's a backup camera, automatic climate control, keyless entry, and a 6.1-inch touchscreen with Entune coming in at $19,110 MSRP.
The S trim stands for spot, and for $19,810 MSRP, drivers can find more styling in the form of paddle shifters, a sport gauge cluster, and black interior and exterior trim, plus a leather steering wheel.
Rounding out the group is the LE Eco with its efficient fuel economy projections, optional moonroof, navigation, Softex seating, and push-button start for $19,510 MSRP.
