There’s a warmth in the air reminding us that spring is near. We couldn’t be more excited for gardening, adventures and the rain that comes with the season.

For Toyota TRD Pro owners, it’s time to get muddy.

But if you’re not a TRD Pro owner, you may be wondering what the TRD Pro Series even is.Let us assure you it encompasses everything an off-roading vehicle should be.

The TRD Pro Series is the name for the trims available for Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner models that allow them to push the limits of the road ahead.

TRD stands for Toyota Racing Development—the sector of Toyota that has had a major influence on motorsports and crawled to the victor’s podium after many off-road races, including the Baja 500 and Baja 1000.

What began as a small after-market accessory company in 1979 has fueled exploration to the most remote areas of the world.

Now, we bring you the Tundra TRD. It is visually unique to its cousin the standard Tundra; with bold black features including tinted bezeled headlights. To match its exterior and intended purpose, the Tundra TRD sports a bigger engine, dual exhaust and aluminum skid plate to prevent damage to critical areas of the truck.

The Toyota TRD 4Runner sports the same skid plate to keep the brains of the car out of harm’s way. In addition to a skid plate, the 4Runner comes with tires made to crawl and features like Multi-terrain Select that allow you to optimize your driving experience considering the conditions.

Additionally, the TRD Tacoma can crawl and do it well. Taking on your serious adventures in the unexplored tundras is its specialty. Inside, as in all TRD Pro vehicles, you’ll find easy clean leather for those extra muddy adventures. Like the Tundra, the Tacoma sports tinted bezeled lights and bold features.

The TRD Pro series proves that dreams really do come true. So, explore the unseen; with the TRD Pro Series, rough terrain and weather conditions will never hold you back.
