The Toyota Tacoma 2WD comes with a choice of two different engines. There's a 2.7-liter DOHC 16-valve engine with four cylinders. This engine produces 159 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. Toyota also offers a 3.5-liter V6 engine with direct injection. This power plant makes 278 horsepower with 265 pound-feet of torque.
This truck's sturdy suspension system also adds to its performance and capabilities. It features a coil-spring, double-wishbone front suspension and a leaf-spring rear suspension with gas shock absorbers. There's also a stabilizer bar for the front and the rear. A special off-road tuned suspension is available as well.
