Capitol Toyota is, of course, talking about the addition of the Japanese automaker's new infotainment service, known as Toyota Entune. This new service comes as a standard feature on the Limited Grade 4Runner trim, though we should also note that it's also available as an option across all trim levels.
What is Toyota Entune? Simply put, it's a service that puts some of today's hottest apps at your fingertips while you drive. Of course, Toyota has managed to do so in a way that is safe, allowing the driver to keep their eyes on the road. Some of the apps included are Bing, iHeartRadio, MovieTickets.com, OpenTable, and Pandora, while other data streaming services include a fuel prices, sports scores, stock info, traffic guides, and weather conditions.
This enticing new infotainment system isn't the only thing that the 4Runner has to offer in the realm of leading-edge technology, however. Returning tech features of the 2012 Toyota 4Runner include SiriusXM Satellite Radio; HD Radio, featuring iTunes tagging and text/e-mail-to-speech; a USB port for easy iPod connectivity; and Bluetooth wireless technology.
